Faculty sponsored activity proposals are submitted either through their respective academic units or through centers. As shown in this figure, the greatest percentage of FY2005 submissions were through the Institute for Health Research and Policy (31%). This reflects submissions from SPH faculty as well as submissions from faculty in other colleges. Among the academic units, Epidemiology and Biostatistics faculty submitted 22% of the proposals, Health Policy and Administration 12%, Community Health Sciences submitted 9%, and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences 6%
